Spencer Turnick Gets People to Stand on Ice

This photo is in the 12/31/07 issue of Time magazine. I thought it a fitting image for the new year...going bare assed into the unknown.

You might have heard of Spencer Turnick, the human-installation artist (visit these links, here and here, it's amazing what he gets folks to do!), who organized 600 volunteers to stand on this glacier to dramatize global warming.
