I just finished Beverly Donofrio's book, Looking for Mary which is about faith, hope, love and redemption, and makes me want to become Catholic. Toward the end of the book Donofrio is in a yoga class and her teacher reads this from Buddhist Dharma -

The thought manifests as the word
The word manifests as the deed.
The deed develops into habit
And the habit hardens into character.
So watch the thought
And it's ways with care
And let it spring from love
Born out of respect for all beings.
