Writing a blog is not like getting back on a bike after you've fallen off. Profound but true. Blog writers get stuck, sometimes for a long time, and sitting down again to write is like cranking up a rusty water wheel - screechingly slow.

Of course I'm not referring to myself, but to the others out there in blog land whom I read and hear their plaintiff cries of being stuck in their head which is the whole problem...their head. Not ours, the readers head, hungry for anything new and interesting to think about or see, but theirs, brimming over with insecurity or whatever and so becoming stuck in (what I fondly call) head muck.

Of course I'm not referring to myself.
